The natural foods retailer will carry both the Hearty Meal and
Homemade-In-Minutes lines of all natural soup mixes.

Whole Foods’ Florida region now is carrying selections from both of Frontier Soups’™ all natural lines of gourmet soup mixes. Distribution is being handled by Global Specialty Foods of Atlanta.

Whole Foods Florida markets will carry six soups each from the Hearty Meal™ and Homemade-In-Minutes™ lines, said Trisha Anderson, founder of Frontier Soups. Included are South of the Border Tortilla Soup, Idaho Outpost Potato Leek Soup, Illinois Prairie Corn Chowder and Minnesota Heartland 11 Bean Soup. Whole Foods’ Mid-Atlantic region already carries Frontier Soups all natural soup mixes.

All Frontier Soups mixes are all natural with no added salt, preservatives or MSG. Suggested retail prices for the Hearty Meal soup mixes are $7 and $6 for the Homemade-In-Minutes soups.

Frontier Soups’ soup mixes are inspired by the flavors of regional American cooking. Home cooks add a few fresh and pantry ingredients for authentic homemade soup with minimal preparation time, Anderson said. Homemade-In-Minutes soups serve four to five with an average cooking time of 30 minutes. Hearty Meal soup recipes have longer cooking times, more additions and serve more people, from six to 12.
