FRONTER SOUPS CELEBRATES 20TH YEAR WITH ‘RETRO’ PACKAGE
Frontier Soups’ line of Homemade in Minutes® soups now are taking on a “retro” look in honor of the company’s 20th anniversary, founder Trisha Anderson announced today at the 52nd National Association for the Specialty Food Trade Summer Fancy Food Show here.
The dry soup mixes now will be specially packaged for gourmet and specialty food stores in the company’s signature cellophane bags that display the ingredients. The new cellophane bags have a header card attached with a brass grommet that allows them to be hung on a spindle or displayed in a coordinating eight-packet tray supplied by Frontier Soups at no additional charge, Anderson said.
The soups have previously been packaged in boxes for sale in natural food and grocery stores. The new packaging is designed specifically for gourmet and specialty outlets as well as gift and country stores.
“These soups are gourmet in every sense of the word, and now we have packaging that attractively displays beautiful ingredients in a way that is appealing to the specialty store shopper,” Anderson said. “We’re very happy we found a look that reflects our original packaging while giving retailers options for attractive and hassle-free display.”
The Homemade in Minutes line features 15 regionally-inspired soups, including the newly-introduced Chicago Bistro French Onion Soup™.
