Frontier Soups Revamps Pasta Salads with New Packaging and Authentic Italian Durum Wheat Pasta

WAUKEGAN, IL, May 22, 2008 – Frontier Soups™ is “souping up” its I’ll Bring The Salad!® line of four pasta salads from the inside out with the addition of authentic durum wheat pasta from Italy and revamped packaging.

The pasta salad mixes will be sold in taller bags for a sleeker look with greater shelf appeal, according to Trisha Anderson, Frontier Soups’ founder, “The bags will remain clear cellophane to allow shoppers to view the salads’ premium ingredients and interesting pasta shapes, such as orecchiette, radiatorre, cavatappi and gemelli,” Anderson said.

The Italian durum wheat pasta retains its shape with a more consistent cooking time and a superior taste and texture, she said.
