WAUKEGAN, IL – Frontier Soups brings globally-inspired cuisine to the table quickly with its newest line, the International Collection, which includes three new meals and a dessert soup.
Hungarian Goulash: A faithful reproduction of the classic seasonings—spicy paprika, onion, peppers and tomatoes—meld in this satisfying European comfort meal. Substituting ground beef for cubed beef puts this hearty meal for two on the table fast.
Italian Wedding Soup: Flavorful mini-meatballs combine with Acini di Pepe (the tiniest of pastas) and fresh additions of escarole and Parmesan cheese for an authentically-seasoned traditional Italian soup. The tiny meatballs are made “melt-in-your-mouth” tender with whole grain bread crumbs.
Far East Ginger Beef Bowl: Ginger root--freeze-dried to preserve its fresh-grated taste--gives the perfect balance of sweet and heat to spice up rice noodles. Just add marinated grilled skirt steak and pea pods for an Asian-inspired meal in 30 minutes.
Ivory Coast Chocolate Soup: a lusciously-rich dessert soup of warm milk infused with aromatic star anise, cardamom pods and other exotic chai spices and ladled over organic dark bittersweet chocolate. A simple 30-minute preparation creates a distinctive dessert for six to eight.
The International Collection’s dry-mix dishes are all natural and contain no salt, preservatives or MSG. Also, as with the company’s other meals, the cook simply adds fresh and pantry ingredients to expertly-spiced pre-measured dry ingredients for gourmet results.
