Consumers now will be able to tell at a glance which Frontier Soups gourmet soup mixes are gluten free with new labeling for its three lines of all natural gourmet soup mixes.

The new labels feature an easy-to-read call out that clearly indicates whether the soups, stews, chilis and chowders are gluten free, said Trisha Anderson, Frontier Soups’ founder. The company offers 24 gluten free soup mixes from its Hearty Meals™, Homemade In Minutes® and International Collection lines, Anderson said.

Included among the gluten free soups are the best selling Hearty Meals Illinois Prairie Corn Chowder and the Homemade In Minutes South of the Border Tortilla Soup.  Hungarian Goulash and Far East Ginger Beef Bowl from the company’s newest International Collection line also are gluten free. Soups labeled as gluten free contain no ingredients derived from gluten-containing grains, such as wheat, barley, rye or oats, Anderson said.

“With the growing interest in gluten free cooking, we wanted to make it easy for shoppers to identify our gluten free soup mixes at a glance rather than having to search through the ingredients list,” Anderson said.
